Neighborhoods

Groton is a diverse community with several distinct and unique neighborhoods.  In order to best meet the needs of children and families, Children First Groton established five Neighborhood Groups to share information, work collaboratively on projects, and provide support for one another and families in the neighborhood. Neighborhood Leaders coordinate outreach activities such as collaborating with local libraries to provide storytimes and crafts, sponsoring children’s cooking classes, promoting early literacy through the Prescription to Read program, supporting the annual Early Childhood Resource Fair, and so much more!

Neighborhood Leaders facilitate monthly meetings year-round for their group, and use social media to provide information and updates on a regular basis. Click on each picture below to contact your neighborhood group leader or email grotonchildrenfirst@gmail.com for more information.
